Martial Arts requires discipline and dedication. These traits carry over to daily life.

Practicing and competing help develope mental focus. Participate often.

Win or lose always show sportsmanship. We are all members of the Jiu-Jitsu community.

Fun for the entire family!

We strive to make Grapplefest a comfortable tournament for beginners, while also rewarding advanced competitors for their contributions to the art. With this in mind we've removed the Elite division and will award prize money and sponsor gifts to winners of the Advanced NoGi and Men Brown/Black divisions - all weight classes!

For safety, we no longer permit

guiollotine chokes in the childrens divisions. For kids who've wrestled or done mainly nogi or mma guiollotine chokes are an elemental technique, but given the fragility of a child's neck this seems prudent, and is in accordance with ibjjf and other organizations.

SW Grapplefest registration is live, posters go out in July.
